Ryan Alderson

Appearance: Of fairly average height and somewhat slender in build, Ryan has a slightly androgynous appearance. His hair is often over-long and fine; prone to tickling his face and frequently stylishly dishevelled, the dark-red hue contrasts sharply with the ivory-toned skin. His eyes are a green-tinged hazel and - more often than not - are painstakingly kohl-lined. He puts a good deal of care into his appearance and likes to be looked at (which conflicts horribly with occasional, acute shyness) and knows how to dress to draw attention to his best features... When alone and relaxing, Ryan is happy to pad about in over-sized hoodies and old jeans. If he's going out to the corner shop or visiting pretty much anywhere (and honestly, he puts thought and time into preparing to venture out anywhere) he'll dress to impress. His tastes and style vary somewhat, but for general day-to-day wear he favours a variety of t-shirts, well-fitted jeans of darker shades and has a fondness for an old leather jacket that tends to go everywhere with him. He has two little silver hoops through the helix of his left ear and a tongue piercing.

Personality: In part Ryan is made up of contradictions - he craves attention but frequently feels smothered when receiving it. He likes to be admired and compliments and the receiving of them is a very real weakness for him... but he's horribly prone to blushing (with his naturally pale complexion this is a real issue for him) and has, on occasion, been reduced to a stammering mess. Absolutely the type to keep things to himself - something he learned to do at an early age due to his family - he'd much rather swallow any hurt than confront the person responsible. He actually fears harsh words more than physical harm.. and when provoked he's been known to resort to his fists. Ryan isn't always triumphant when he gets into fights but that doesn't stop him when he loses his temper (bit of a problem - that over-fine skin also bruises easily).
